Green Out game set for Friday, Sept. 9, 2016

Versus: Lobos will play the South Oak Cliff Golden Bears, 7:30 p.m. at Lobo Stadium

Get Ready to Rock Class 6A!

Lobos fans will rock Green Out 2016 as the Lobos host the Oak Cliff Golden Bears for the first home game, Friday, September 9th! At the 15th annual Green Out Night at Lobo Stadium, everyone wearing a 2016 Green Out t-shirt is invited on to the field before the game to form the Big Green Victory Line! Let’s show the Oak Cliff Golden Bears just how proud the Lobo Nation is!

Join us at the Pre-Game Tailgate hosted by Citizens National Bank!

Before the game, join the Lobo Nation at the 2nd annual hamburger tailgate in the breezeway of Longview High School. Employees of Citizens National Bank will be grilling hamburgers with all the fixings. A juicy, grilled burger, chips, and a cookie will sell for a donation of $5.00 which benefits the Longview ISD Foundation. Canned drinks will be available for purchase at a nominal price. Green Out shirts are still for sale at the LISD athletic office.  However, we are sold out of Youth Small and Adult 2XL and will not get more.  Shirts are $15 each.

How to purchase shirts: The LISD Foundation will sell Green Out T-shirts during Lobo season ticket sales and at student registration or back-to-school nights at Hudson PEP Elementary School, Johnston-McQueen Elementary School, Foster Middle School, and Judson Middle School. Green Out shirts will be available in sizes Youth extra small through Adult 3XL. All shirts are $15 each.

About the Green Out T-shirt Sales: All proceeds from Green Out benefit the Longview ISD Foundation’s annual Grants-to-Teachers Program.  Since 1995, the Longview ISD Foundation, Inc. has returned $ 693,000 to Longview ISD classrooms and campuses through the annual Great Reward for Great Ideas grant program and the Campus Initiative Grant Program to maximize the quality of education for students.
